Patriot Farm[/blockquote]
Nestled in the woods and fields of Minnesota, amongst the lakes and rivers, is a farm dedicated to the well being of troubled teenagers and wounded war veterans. Horses and dogs help those with missing limbs, mental wounds, and down right bad attitudes become healthier, happier, and comfortable with themselves. Patriot Farm is this place of wonders.
Your a teenager. Your parents are at their wits end with your trouble making and poor attitude. You are angry at the world for taking you big brother from you in a car accident. Everything is the world's fault. You get caught stealing from an old woman and are sent to jail. At court, you are found guilty and the judge gives you a choice. Go to jail or go to the farm. Well, jail doesn't sound fun so you go to the farm. You get there and the first thing you see is a man walking with a horse. But, he has two metal things for legs. You look around, feeling uncomfortable just standing there with your bags in your hands, two other kids standing behind you as the bus drives off. You hear a strange sound that is slowly getting louder. One two three four. Pick pick it up your left I can't hear you. PICK PICK IT UP YOUR LEFT. Sound off one two. You see a group of people, mostly teenagers with a few adults, all walking in step towards a building that smells like foot. A woman breaks off from the group, walking over to you and the other kids. So, you are the newcomers, she says in a low voice. Well, welcome to Patriot Farms, your new home for however long you chose to stay. And when I mean how long you chose, its how long it takes you to prove yourself to me. She looks down at you with stern eyes, her mouth straight without a hint of a smile. Go to the barracks and check in the the man at the front desk, he'll be expecting you. Then you can meet us in the chow hall. Without anything more, she turns on her heel and walks after the group heading into the chow hall. You look at the other kids, eyes wide and jaw open in shock. What have you gotten into?
