[/i] she quietly thought to herself. She tried to push any negative thoughts from her mind, after all that’s what her father would of told her to do if he was still alive. She didn’t have a good relationship with her mother. They never spoke to each other and in all honesty, Addison wanted nothing more than to get through high school and move out of her house. She hated everything about living with her mother. Her mom never paid her any attention, heck for all she cared Addison could have been a cocaine addict, having sex with every boy at Wentworth and her mother would have had no clue. Of course Addison respected herself and would never get caught up in things like that. Thank goodness she had some sort of self-worth because she knew her mother didn’t care what happened to her. Her friends at school were always complaining their parents cared “too much” but all she wished was that her only parent would care at all.

She flipped through her dresser before skipping over to her closet. She quickly shuffled through all the sundresses she had but then started thinking wearing a dress on the first day of school might be too innocent. She finally decided on a pair of jeans she had gotten a few months back, and a plain looking pink top that always fit nicely to her thin shape. It was then that she had remembered the toast she had been making downstairs! ‘Shoot!’ she thought to herself as she bolted down the steps. The toast had already popped up but of course the toaster never just toasted the bread. It always insisted on burning it to a crisp. Knowing that she had no time to make more she decided to skip breakfast. She brushed her straight hair that went all the way down to her butt as quickly as she could, ripping little chunks of shiny blond hair out in the process. She grabbed her things, and off to school she went. She couldn’t be late for the first day!
