Hailey walked into the library. She had study hall this period and was happy that she had Kayla in the class. Even when her and Kayla had been in middle school and were placed in different classes it had truly upset Hailey. She hated not having her sister by her side all the time. She could be extremely protective over her close friends and Kayla. She felt lucky to have the chance to see Kayla every day in study hall. It gave them some time to catch up on things since Hailey hated to study and never did anything in this class anyways.
She was shocked to find that Kayla hadn’t beaten her to class on this particular day. She automatically took out her history book and started to act like she was reading. Too bad she wasn’t the best actress and it was obvious she was staring off into space daydreaming about wild parties and smoking a cigarette right about now. She had tried her best to keep Kayla from knowing that she smoked, but she was unsure yet if she knew or not, since they just hadn’t talked about it. After all if their father had ever found out he would just kill Hailey. It would only be an amount of time before the smoking would interfere with her swimming abilities after all. This bothered Hailey but not enough to quit. It was an addiction. It was now that she had taken some vanilla spray out of her purse and started spritzing it all about, practically giving a kid with asthma at the next table an attack. She pushed the spray back into her new coach bag and zipped it up. My twin senses are tingling! She quietly though to herself as she looked down at her history book. She still wasn’t reading it but she would of hated to have Kayla know she was dozing off daydreaming, once again.
