Addison had her headphones in her ears blasting panic at the disco! as she glared around the courtyard. She looked back down at her math homework but wasn’t really doing math. Instead she happened to be drawing little hearts and rainbows all over the page. She couldn’t stand algebra it was way too hard. Math would be the death of her, she could just feel it. After all at the moment she had straight A’s, besides for her D in math. She was really worried about failing this class but just couldn’t concentrate. A few days back she had gotten in a giant argument with a boy in her grade in the dining hall at the school. It had been driving her crazy since she hadn’t talked to her friends about it, scared that they would think she was a stupid bitch or something. But none the less it had been endlessly on her mind. She looked up searching for a familier face. The cheerleaders were on the other side of the quad messing around and gossiping, but she had to get this homework done. Plus, she wasn’t a big fan of certain cheerleaders anyways. It was then that she saw Mrs.Dominguez walking across the quad towards the school. ‘This is my chance!’ she thought to herself as she walked as quickly as she could over to where Mrs.Dominguez was. She was hoping that nobody would take notice of her because she didn’t want the other cheerleaders asking what was going on. She had talked to Mrs.Dominguez one time before when she had a problem with her roommate and she thought she was an amazingly sweet women who was very intelligent and always worth talking to when you had a problem. After all, after Addison had talked to Mrs.Dominguez and taken her advice her and her roommate had quickly became really good friends.
She slowed down as Mrs.Dominguez started into the school. Addison followed in right behind her before catching up and walking beside her. ”Uh, Mrs.Dominguez? Something been on my mind the past few days.” She squished up her face in a look of confusion as she tried to think of what else to say. ”Do you think I could talk to you about it?” Addison asked in a really soft tone. She was always embarrassed to ask for help but what had happened with Cyrus was really bothering her and she knew Claudia would never tell a single soul what she talked to her students about. That was the best part about sharing things with her. On top of it Claudia was from Florida just like Addison was. Addi couldn’t help but wonder if Mrs.Dominguez ever missed Florida like she did.
