Ellen had forgotten how many appointments and visits to the hospital pregnancy required. It was quite exhausting, constantly having to drive to the hospital for a check up. She couldn't wait to just have the baby, but then she'd have to worry about other stressful problems. This was definitely going to be a long few years, but she believed with Lawson by her side, everything would be alright. In fact, Lawson had decided to come with her for this appointment. The last appointment she had, Lawson hadn't gone to, and the one before that was an absolute disaster. Hopefully this time wouldn't be like the first.
When they got to the hospital, Ellen took his hand and they walked in together. She signed in and waited until her name was called. Once it was, she followed the nurse who then proceeded to take her blood pressure and get her weight. After the nurse finished with the basic check up, Ellen was left waiting for the doctor to come and start the actual check up. Once that was finished, she put her clothes back on, and was free to go.
After exiting the room, she went across the hall to use the restroom. She just couldn't wait to get home and collapse from exhaustion. Unfortunately, this pregnancy put a damper on what summer activities she could do. For the most part, she slept, watched the news, or read. It was dreadfully boring, but what was she to do? She hummed softly as she washed her hands and left the bathroom only to run into someone. Was she really that unaware of her surroundings? "I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going," she said, straightening her shirt out, looking up at the victim of her obliviousness. Her eyes widened when she saw who it was, and she immediately looked down at the ground, trying to hide her face.
