Emma needed to get out of her foster families house. Going to the therapist brought back so many memories, some pleasant, some unpleasant and she needed to forget them. Not knowing many people yet, she really didn't have any one to hang out with so she just planned on going down to the beach by herself and just walk up and down the coast. Taking off her shoes once she approached the beach, she let her feet sink into the hot sand. One would think that would burn the bottom of her feet but it didn't bother her so much. She walked down to the water's edge and let her feet be washed over by the water. She sighed at the coolness she felt.
Emma felt everything drift away. The thoughts she felt when she left the therapist office, the memories. She thought going to a therapist was supposed to help her, not make her feel worse about everything. Not to make her feel ten times worse than before she went there. Before going to the therapist, she had no memories of what happened to her, because she managed to push it all behind her. She managed to put the past in the past and not bring it up again. But the little she mentioned to Anna, the more the memories made their appearance. She really didn't want to think about Liam. She didn't want to see him again, but she knew anything was possible. It was times like this where she wish she began to make friends with people at the school, so she could have someone to talk to, even if it was just to get things off her mind, or to divert her attention from the past. Plus friends aren't something that Emma really have had in the past and she figured that moving here would be a new start for her.
