laziness WORDS FOR BRAEDON/LOKI :) DREAM | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] wearing Family. It was a word Ellen held close to her heart. The woman loved her parents; she talked to them everyday, and there wasn't even a question on whether she loved her children or not. Elle was the walking definition of the word, and she was proud of it. That was why she was ecstatic to be seeing her baby sister for the first time in over ten years. The woman was nervous but excited at the same time. The last time she had seen Ena was when she went off to study abroad in Ireland. Ellen had considered it, but after she went there for a summer trip to visit family she decided the only place she belonged was Connecticut. Plus, at the time, she was seeing her ex-husband. Ena apparently loved it there. She loved it so much that she decided to get married and start a family. The distance between them made it rather difficult for the sisters to see each other on a regular basis, but they talked on the phone every so often and exchanged letters. Elle knew that she had a son, so Ellen made sure to send birthday cards to him and other holiday cards. Although the two of them pretended like they still knew each other, the truth was they didn't. Ellen had no idea how much her sister had changed, and she wasn't sure what to expect. Ena had been such a sweet little sister, but she knew if she treated her like that she'd get a slap in the face. Her sibling was forty four years old now, not a teen. Frantically, the woman had been cleaning the house all day to make sure it was spotless for her sister and her family. She told Marcus to stay in his room and watch TV so that he wouldn't mess up the cleaning she had accomplished. Thankfully, he agreed to those terms. Natalie was out with a group of friends, and Ellen decided that was for the better, and she really didn't want to bother Victoria at college. This was just going to be a little, casual dinner with her family...as if anything was casual with Ellen. For the meal itself, Ellen settled on steak, potatoes, and asparagus. Those were relatively safe foods unless Ena had decided to become a vegetarian. As the time drew nearer, Ellen went up to her room to get dressed. She wanted to look presentable, so she settled on a maroon lace dress and a black cardigan with her pearls. After she was finished dressing, she made sure Marcus wasn't still wearing his pajamas or something. Not long after that, the doorbell rang. Ellen walked down the stairs with her son and opened the door, smiling brightly at her sister and bringing her into an embrace. "I guess you've grown up baby sister," she said, still smiling. She motioned for them to come in. After the formalities were finished and everyone was introduced she motioned over for everyone to sit down. "So, Braedon how are you enjoying Wentworth?" Ellen asked once everyone was seated. |
