laziness WORDS FOR LOKI/LAWSON OH BOY! DREAM | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] wearing Anxiety was not a feeling Ellen was fond of, not at all. In fact, it was the worst thing for her, and she was feeling it now. She hated uneasiness and uncertainty because that meant something hadn't happened according to her 'plan.' Ever since she was a little girl, Ellen was obsessed with making sure things went her way, and when they didn't....she got frustrated. Really. Frustrated. Right now, Ellen was on the brink of having a nervous breakdown because she had a major headache left over from a few days prior, a sick stomach, and something else. That something else, however, was possibly the one thing that would destroy ever single one of her perfectly composed plans. After having gone to bed at a very early hour because of severe migraine attack, Ellen woke up bright and early only to find herself rushing to the bathroom. It was awful, and she had only ever experienced twice before in her life. That mere thought made her stomach twist which wasn't something she really needed at the moment. Thinking back on the past few weeks, she also realized she had missed her monthly cycle. This wasn't good at all, and it made her feel so incredibly helpless, and she absolutely detested helplessness. Ellen was the woman who could get herself out of any problem, or at least she'd like to think, and this wasn't something she could just 'get herself out of.' Elle sat there in the bathroom for a while, her face stone cold. What was she supposed to do? At forty nine she wasn't supposed to be in this sort of circumstance, she was far too old. Plus, having a child right now wasn't in her plan. No, it was so far from her plan it made her sick to even think of the possibility. It took her a while to even muster the courage to leave the bathroom, and as soon as she did she only had to run back from the sickness. When she thought she was finally done throwing up her insides, she took a hot bath and put on a sweat pants and a sweat shirt. Today she wasn't going anywhere. The woman returned to bed and slept well into late morning. Usually she liked waking up at five or six to get ready for the day, but today Elle felt like a train had hit her multiple times. At around 11 she forced herself up and decided it would be wise to contact Lawson. She hadn't taken a pregnancy test yet, and she wasn't entirely sure she could do it without some sort of support. Plus, she felt the man was entitled to knowing what was going on. Sleepily, she dialed the phone and called his number. She was sure she sounded like death over the phone when she asked him to come over, and she hadn't really explained herself well. Her head was a pounding mess, so she hadn't thought about giving him an explanation and realized he'd probably be worried. She went downstairs to wait for him to get there, but found herself drifting off only to be woken up by the sound of knocking. Ellen braced herself for what was to come and went to open the door. "Hi," she said, letting him in. "Thanks for coming. I just. I had no one else to call, and I needed someone," she said, her voice weakening. She bit her quivering lip to keep from crying because she didn't want to look worse than she already did. "I needed you," she said softly. |
