FULL NAME Jessica Nichole Livingston
AGE Forty Six
BIRTHDAY February 20
SUBJECT(S) Drama and Theatre
Jessica has a bit of an unusual look to her, especially her lips. For some reason, she was born with oddly shaped lips and they drive her nuts. Her eyes are a deep green and tend to make her look like she's always tired. Jess dyes her hair constantly, but she naturally has strawberry blonde hair. Usually she sports blonde, but sometimes she'll have it her natural color. She's not too tall and not too short at 5'6.5" and she weighs about 145 lbs.
For clothes, she tends to opt for dresses when she's working, but at home she's sporting jeans and a shirt. Jessica likes looking nice and dressing up, but she doesn't see why it is needed at home when she isn't doing anything.

hyper active, random, dancing, kind of a diva
HYPER: Jessica can never seem to stay still for five seconds let alone a whole class period. She's energetic, random, and completely insane. Many of her friends need to shut her up because she never stops talking or running around like a nut. When she was a little kid her parents had a hard time controlling her. Jessica loves teaching chorus and voice because she isn't forced to sit still the whole time. If s he was forced to be in a tiny office all day she'd probably die from boredom.
EASY GOING: This woman is definitely not the scary teacher type. She likes to make her students feel comfortable because the art of vocal performance is different from other subjects. To produce a truly excellent performance her students need to be vulnerable, and if they aren't comfortable around her that makes it hard. She isn't overly critical, but she won't lie to her students if they did a less than spectacular job.
PERFORMING: Her life is singing. Period. She loves everything about musical theatre and drama and is proud to be teaching the youth of today everything she knows about the Great White Way and theatre. When she was much younger, Jessica wanted to be a performer. After doing a couple shows in her youth, she realized that wasn't the lifestyle she wanted. Teaching is the perfect marriage between performance and stability. As a teacher she can express the arts but not worry about being poor.
A DIVA: She might be nice, she might be easy going, and she might be genuine, but Jessica is a diva. She can't stand not getting a lead role or being told she's unimportant. The limelight is something she craves, and if she is denied it she'll get angry. This attitude has kind of gone away since she stopped acting professionally, but when she sends her students to vocal contests, she gets very competitive. Jessica doesn't take well to losing, and if her voice students lose she has the mentality that she is losing as well.
On February 26 Jessica Nichole Livingston was born to Bentley and Molly Livingston along with a twin who they named Teagan. The two girls grew up without separation and were each other's best friend. They looked exactly alike, and for the first few years Jessica's mom and dad couldn't tell them apart. Jess was the crazy, talkative one and Teagan was shy and quiet. Most of the time, Jessica was the leader of the two and told her sister what to do. Teagan didn't really get mad when her sister got bossy and through the years she learned to depend on Jessica.
When it was time for them to start school, Molly went in to make sure they were in the same class. Jessica had a lot of trouble in school, she couldn't sit still long enough and when she was able to she lost concentration. Her teacher wanted to hold her back and put her in remedial classes, but her parents wouldn't have any of that. Jessica was not a stupid girl, in fact she was very smart. Molly worked extra hard to help her learn to relax and sit still. It didn't really work, so she took her to the doctor. The doctor prescribed medication to make her relax, but when her father found out about it he was furious. Bentley didn't trust medication and demanded that Jessica be taken off of them. When it seemed like they wouldn't come to an agreement, Bentley recalled how calming music could be. At the age of seven, Jessica was taking piano lessons.
At first, she hated them more than anything, but as she started to improve she loved it more and more. Soon, the piano became one of her favorite things. When it was time to start high school, she was able to sit long enough to get through. Jessica discovered singing when she did her first play in her freshman year. When the music teacher announced she was starting voice classes, Jessica signed up immediately. After her parents discovered how much she loved musical theatre, they took her to see Les Miserables when it opened on Broadway. Jessica fell in love with it and expressed that theatre was her new dream.
In her sophomore year, her parents let a boy named Pete live with them. His parents had been close friends to the family, but they died in a horrible car accident. Pete, Teagan, and Jessica were best friends. For the longest time, Pete had been in love with Jess, but Jess saw him as a younger brother. In return, Teagan loved Pete despite the fact he was obsessed with Jessica. Jess tried her hardest to keep their relationship just at the friends level, but he persisted. Not only was she unwilling to hurt her sister, but she just didn't love him. When it was time for graduation she was glad to be able to go off to college and leave him behind.
Jessica started training at Juilliard in New York City after high school. She learned a lot from the school and enjoyed learning in an urban city. After she graduated with her degree in the dramatic arts, she went on to try and make a living as a performer. Jessica got a few ensemble roles here and there but nothing big came her way. After that she went on to get certified to teach. Ironically, she got a call from a casting director asking her to play Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. Jessica had auditioned for the show before going back to college. She was thrilled to join the cast and had fun during her fifteen minutes of fame. She decided not to stick with it and moved back to Rhode Island to teach.
Once she moved back, she applied for a job at Wentworth where she had gone as a teenager. She got the job easily. Upon her arrival Pete went to her house and proposed to her. Overwhelmed, slightly annoyed, and unsure, Jessica said no. He was hurt and went to drown his sorrows when Teagan caught him at the bar. They went home together, but that night Pete called her Jessica. This hurt Teagan more than anything and caused a riff between the sisters. When Jessica's twin found herself pregnant with Pete's child she demanded that they get married. He agreed, but their marriage is far from perfect. Teagan hates her sister because Pete will always love her. Losing Teagan was very hard for Jessica, but she hasn't really tried to repair the broken relationship.
Jessica has been at Wentworth for about six years, and she absolutely adores teaching.
