Robb sat next to Aria and Joseph on either side of him. Robb wore shorts and a V-neck t-shirt and wore . He had taken his slip on canvas shoes off so he was bare foot in the hot sand. He smiled at Aria then over to Joey. They were the only friends he really had most used him for his money, And as soon as he sniffed some one using him he'd cut ties with them.Aria and Joesph were the only two friends he had met that didn't use him.
He had always been close with Aria since childhood, He'd been her confidant through life always trying to make her feel better and helped her kick drugs after her second overdose he didn't leave her hospital bed until she was awake and he held her hand most of the time only leaving the room when the doctors needed to tend to her and didn't even like leaving then. He was always there for her and had wanted to start something with her but was afraid to ruin what they had.
And Joeseph on the other hand was the dork of the group but Robb loved him as a friend for it. He would play baseball with him and would often play fight with him one of them usually ending up sore or bruised. ARIA JANE GOODMAN

Ah, home! Aria was so very happy to be back in Rhode Island for the summer. And by happy, she meant miserable. Her father was still acting awkward about the whole drug popping/overdosing thing, and her mother had yet to make an appearance in her life again. She was happy to escape it all in New Haven, but the school year couldn't last forever. She was doing well in her classes. While she was not at the top of her class like she was used to, she was getting by. Not once, had she thought about her mom. She made a lot of friends who shared the same interests as her, but none of them would beat her three besties. She had missed them terribly while at Yale. They were the only thing she missed about Rhode Island. If she had it her way, she'd pack the two of them up in a box and take them with her!
Robb had asked her to meet Joey and he at the beach. Aria was excited to spend a nice summer day, catching some waves and getting a tan. She needed this get away badly. When her father asked her where she was going, she nearly refused to answer. She was nineteen! She didn't need her father to give her permission to go anywhere anymore. Since she didn't have a car of her own, she rode her bike down to the beach. She had a bright smile on her face when she saw Robb. She quietly snuck up behind him and tickled his sides. "Hey stranger!" she said. "How ya holding up in this hell hole?" she asked. Tags: ROBB STARK Notes: yippee!
He was starring at the water when he felt her arms touch his side and he reached back and grabbed her arms playfully spinning around to her pulling her down playfully over him laughing slightly as he pulled her down on him. He caught her and lowered her on the sand before she could fall on him. "Hey Ria!" He almost yelled smiling as he offered to help her sit up. He almost wanted to come to Yale with her but he ha grades and stuff to do. He would spend half the night on the phone to her helping her when ever she needed help. He missed her a lot. He tried to push his feelings for her aside, but he thought if they didn't end up working out what it would do to her and since Robb was busy flirting with his history teacher. Joey would often make fn of him for liking his teacher. He smiled at Aria. He had accpted her as just a friend, but had sometimes wanted to ask and plead for more. He looked at her. "I'm as fine as I can be, I've missed you like hell, girl." He said frienderly wrapping his arms around her hugging her.

Aria let out a squeal when Robb spun her around and pulled her down on him. She was so happy when she was around Robb and Joey. It was such a relief to see them after being around her father for the majority of the summer. "Not so loud, Robb!" she teased, accepting his hand as he helped her sit up. The two of them had talked a lot while she was at college on the phone, but it just wasn't the same. She missed hanging out with him and doing things with him. Joey as well. Speaking of Joey....where was he? She knew he was probably running late from work. It was not uncommon for him to get overworked at the bookshop. She didn't mind spending quality time with Robb while she waited for him, though.
She hugged him back and smiled at his words. "Yeah, I've missed you too," she said. "I love college though! I'm so glad to be away from here. I wish I could box you up and take you with me though," she said with a laugh. "Dad is acting weird again..." she said, trailing off. She wasn't going to talk about this today though. She didn't want to ruin their day at the beach. Tags: ROBB STARK Notes: yippee!
He hugged her softly giving her a friendly kiss on the cheek. "I'd consent to that. But wouldn't that be human trafficking?" He laughed softly looking at her. He had found some solace in her even if they were friends. She probably didn't know he had feelings for her, let alone loved her in his own way. He always wondered if she liked him and wanted more. He just nodded and hugged her for as long as he could with out making it awkward which became a long time. "Just care for him, Ria. He needs you." He smiled at her parting from the hug. "Joey will be here soon, I think." He smiled putting a friendly hand on her arm. "How have you been really?" He asked touching her arm softly. She was the only one he could talk to truthfully bu he would not tell her abou his liking for Ellen. He would speak of her and how she was, He cared for Aria, he almost acted as her father in some respects. He was torn. He wanted happiness for her and also wanted her. He had spent so many years with her that they were best friends. He felt as if he would give his own life for hers if it came down to it.

Aria laughed at Robb's human trafficking joke. "I don't intend on selling you into slavery, though," she said with a wink. Her friends at Yale could never compare to Robb or even Joey. Those two were her best friends, and she had a feeling they always would be. When she was going through hell with her mom, Robb had been there with her. He kept her from feeling like she wanted to die. She feared what she might have done had he not been around for her. She returned his hug. It was nice to feel that platonic closeness with him. He was almost like a brother to her, but more because he was her best friend as well. "Yeah," she said."It must be rough on him, having to deal with losing his wife," she said. Aria felt for her father, she truly did, but she still couldn't excuse his behavior.
She smiled brightly when he said Joey would be here soon. "Good. I miss that dork," she said, a joking tone in her voice. She pondered a bit when he asked how she was. "I'm doing swell! College is amazing, but I'm super excited to graduate and really start my life," she said. Someday, Aria hoped to move away to New York City and pursue her acting dreams. She knew it was silly, but she was determined to succeed. Tags: ROBB STARK Notes: yippee!
"Good, I'd be too pretty to be a slave." He smiled at her laying back in the sand looking at her. He enjoyed the times they were alone. He cherished time with her. "And I'll still be around when you want to talk or hang out." He smiled, "It's getting pretty hot." He said sitting up and taking his shirt off after the hug was finished. Before she left they would go to the beech quite often. "I've missed you." He smiled laying back on his elbows. If only he could tell her how he felt about her, But he did it for her, He knew he would only end up hurting her if they ever broke up. And she didn't need her best friend screwing up her life any more and holding it in even longer wasn't helping his depression, In some ways seeing her put him at low and now he was holding so much from her and felt bad for it.. He stood up. "Let's go for a walk along the beech." He smiled as he offered to help her up. "At least until Joey get's here?" He smiled looking down at her.
ELLEN ELIZABETH WATSON: That sounds familiar. I used to be that way. I still am, but I've learned to let go a little.

EMMA GRACE DANVERS (GOODMAN): Alec is too good to me, how did I deserve him. I'm such a perfectionist that I am afraid to screw up

ELLEN ELIZABETH WATSON: Everyone screws up. I've screwed up so many times I can't even keep track, but you just have to pick yourself up and learn to forgive yourself which can be the hardest thing to do

EMMA GRACE DANVERS (GOODMAN): Thank you so much Ellen. I know Alec is there to encourage me, but sometimes I feel he's put me on this great mother pedestal. I'm afraid of screwing up.

ELLEN ELIZABETH WATSON: I wouldn't worry too much Emma. You're very maternal, something I never was, and I managed to do it alone. If you ever need to talk about parenting, I'm always here

EMMA GRACE DANVERS (GOODMAN): I'm just worried about being a good mother. Since my own mother is no longer here to advice me. I just want to do her proud *nervous look*
Sept 18, 2013 22:09:25 GMT -5
EMMA GRACE DANVERS (GOODMAN): well I think Alec will be worried when it comes to that age. He'll probably buy a shotgun and ward off any boy who comes a courting.

ELLEN ELIZABETH WATSON: -laughs- you don't have to worry about that for a while. I told Victoria when she was going into sixth grade, but I think it also depends on the child
