Daniel had been out of school for a while now. It started off with him missing three days of school. He had been throwing up and was really weak. So his mom had made him stay home from school. He had gone to the doctors and the doctor told him that it was the flu. But after three days, Daniel was feeling better so he went back to school and he had been grateful for that. He had missed Faith. While he was sick, his mom told him that he could have no visitors because she didn't want anyone else getting sick so he was stuck home alone while she went to school. When he got back to school, he felt a little bit better, but he was still feeling sick to his stomach and he felt weak. It wasn't until day three that he was back in school, that he had gone to the nurse feeling very dizzy and very sick. The nurse immediately sent him home and it wasn't until five days later that he was still throwing up, dehydrated and very weak.
That was a week and a half ago. His mom brought him to the hospital when she found him not moving in his bed. The doctors hooked him up to an IV of fluids. He's still throwing up but it's not as often as he used to and he's starting to get his color back but it's slowly that he's starting to feel better. He had his mom text Faith to let her know that he's okay, just in the hospital with a severe case of the flu. He has no idea how he got this but he's glad that Faith didn't get it. He didn't want her to have to go through this. He didn't know if she would come visit him, but he missed seeing her beautiful face light up the room whenever she saw him. Her smile was contagious and she always made him smile. He knew, at that moment, that he fell for his friend, that he was in love with his best friend and he didn't know what to do about it.
