Marcus was sitting in his room. Lawson picked him up from the hospital after the doctors deemed him safe to go home, even though the urges were still strong. He had to wear a bracelet that said "Suicide Risk" on his wrist so people were aware that he was at risk of a suicide attempt and that he wasn't allowed to be by himself in the bathroom, a room or anything. It was going to kill him to be watched every single move he made. It was like he was going to have no privacy. Lawson had already taken the door to his room off the hinge so he couldn't even shut his door. Everything sharp that he once had in his room were gone. It was like he was back in the hospital.
Marcus was laying on the bed, starting at the ceiling. Lawson ran out to the store and trusted Marcus to not do anything, and obviously he wasn't going to push his limits. He was finally able to be home and back in the place he called a room. He was able to be home with his family, well whatever kind of a family there was now. After being in the psych ward for 2 months and lying to the doctors so he would be able to get out of there, he was ready to kill someone. He was glad his mother wasn't home right now. He didn't know how he could face her. Sure she came to visit him when he was in the ward but she was never alone with him, she was always with Lawson. Whenever she was there, she could barely look him in the eyes. He knew she was disappointed but he was disappointed in her. All the depression and stuff wasn't good for him and being back at the house, even though he liked it, it was reminding him of the depression and it was making him feel suffocated once again.
