FULL NAME Adrian Malcolm Walker
BIRTHDAY January 9
OCCUPATION Works for a major corporation under the Research and Development department
Hair: Adrian has dark brown hair that he keeps neat and trimmed. He doesn't like the look of unkempt hair, and he especially can't go without washing it everyday.
Eyes: He has dark blue eyes that are very expressive. He wears a mix between contacts and glasses. Usually he wears glasses, because he has to wear prescription safety goggles due to the dangers of wearing contact lenses in the lab.
Height/Weight/Build: He's tall, standing at approximately 6'0," and he weighs about 170 pounds. Adrian is very sturdy and keeps himself in good shape by working out and eating right.
Style: Adrian's wardrobe consists primarily of button up shirts and khakis or trouser pants. When he's at home he'll wear t-shirts to lounge around in, but he'll never leave the house without looking decent and polished. At work, he wears lab appropriate apparel with a lab coat and of course his safety glasses.

a gentleman, well balanced, intelligent, realistic, hardworking, logical, thorough, disciplined
not very creative, the glass is 'half empty,' can come off a bit cold, rigid, a bit too much of a 'perfectionist'
Adrian is a very hardworking individual who strives to be his personal best. Unlike some people, he had to work to get where he is, and even though he has a really good job now, he didn't always have it. He doesn't appreciate it when people don't work hard or at least try to better themselves, and he always tries to push his family members to be the best they can be. However, Adrian's high expectations from his children can lead to arguments. Everything he does is for his kids though, and someday he hopes that they can understand that.
He is definitely left brained, and approaches circumstances with logic and realism. Although he likes ready fantasy novels and watching creative films, his mind doesn't linger there. Adrian likes to root himself firmly in reality which is why he's so good at his job. His mind was made for science and math, and he's one of the top researchers at the company. When it comes to his job, Adrian is a perfectionist. He makes sure every detail is exactly how it should be and doesn't ever take shortcuts. This is mostly because shortcuts in science leads to catastrophe. The discipline and precision he's learned in his work life has also started to flood into his personal life as well. As a parent, he is definitely the disciplinarian, and he expects nothing but respect from his children. On the other hand, he can also be very caring especially when it's someone he loves.
Socially, he's very polite and knows how to conduct himself. He's a gentleman, and still believes in chivalry, especially when he has a significant other. He's also very levelheaded and never loses his temper. Whenever someone makes him angry, he'll simply bite his tongue, and try to calmly discuss the issue. Often times it appears as though he doesn't get excited, but this is not the case. Adrian gets excited over certain things, but he tries not to show it on the outside. He prides himself on having a calm disposition, and he tries not to let emotions influence his behavior or his decisions.
Adrian was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to middle class parents, Logan and Susan Walker. Both Logan and Susan were school teachers. Logan taught high school chemistry, and Susan taught elementary school. Adrian was the first child of three, and he had one brother named Lincoln and a sister named Bethany. Adrian was a very protective older brother even at a young age. His parents encouraged him to work hard in school, so that he could go to a good college and get a decent job. In elementary school, he didn't take their advice and fooled around. He neglected his schoolwork, didn't do his homework, and didn't pay attention in class. Because of this, he ended up having to repeat the sixth grade. His parents told him he had to shape up and get with it or else he'd be sent to Boarding School. Adrian worked harder in his classes and made a huge improvement, and by the time he got into high school he had established a work ethic and schedule.
In high school he was very studious, and loved math and science. He had absolutely no trouble with those classes, but when it came to language studies and history, he struggled. When he realized his weakness, he immediately went in for extra help, not wanting to disappoint his parents. Although he got the extra help he needed, he still had trouble, but his excellent grades in science and math compensated for what was lacking in English and history. For extra curricular activities, he joined the swim team and choir. During the school year and summer, he worked at the local library to earn a bit of money. After graduation, he got a scholarship to attend Carnegie Mellon University for chemical engineering.
He worked diligently on his schoolwork and maintained his job at the library, and ended up graduating from the University with honors and a degree in chemical engineering with a minor in physics. After taking a year off from school, he went back and earned his doctoral degree in chemistry. He met his first wife named Lillian at grad school. She was also studying chemistry. At first, they were only very close friends. They studied together and went to parties together as each other's 'default date.' Eventually, they grew to really care for one another and started dating. Immediately after graduation, Adrian proposed to her and she accepted. Within the following year, the couple was happily married. After a year of being married, Adrian and Lily both got job offers as science teachers at a high school in California. Adrian became the physics teacher and Lily the general science teacher.
A few years after settling down in California, Adrian and Lily had a son named Christopher. Chris was the light in their world, and they couldn't wait to be parents. Unfortunately, Lily contracted cancer. The doctor said that her prospects weren't promising, and that it was terminal. Adrian's world fell apart with this news, and even though he knew he had to be strong in order to take care of his wife and newborn son, he struggled. She died shortly after Chris turned one, leaving Adrian as a single father. More bad news hit when his position was terminated at the high school due to budget cuts. Desperate, Adrian applied to work at a library. He had experience from his youth and college years, and he got the job. It didn't pay much, but it was enough to pay the bills and raise Chris.
A little bit over a year after Lily's death, Adrian met a woman named Maryanne at work. She was beautiful and really lovely, but he was afraid to go out because he was still grieving Lily. Instead, the two became close friends. Eventually, Adrian felt he was ready to give a relationship a try, and he asked her out on an official date. The two fell in love, and after two years of dating, Adrian proposed. Maryanne had a son named James who was older that Christopher. Adrian was happy to see his son finally get a sibling, and the two seemed to get along well. Everything appeared to be in place, and Adrian even got a job offer to work in the Research and Development department of a major corporation. However, the happiness wasn't forever.
A year after he married Maryanne, a drugged driver hit their car. His wife was killed upon impact, and both Christopher and he were hospitalized and in critical condition. This devastated Adrian, and he was thrown into a severe depression for quite some time. It took him six months to recover from the coma, and even after that he wasn't fully recovered. His young son, however, has yet to make a full recovery. After the accident, life was much more difficult for the family. Adrian was now James's guardian, and he was back to being a single parent. He continued working in his job, so it was very hard to manage that and spend time with his two sons. James ended up becoming protective of Christopher and took care of him.
Soon Christopher was well enough to at least attempt school according to the doctors, and Adrian sent him off to school. James protested, and he really didn't want to argue with the boy, but to him it was very important for Christopher to get an education outside of homeschooling. Adrian's parents saw this, and suggested sending James away to private school. Susan was friends with a professor at a good school in Rhode Island, and she sent him money and pulled a few strings to get James a scholarship. Reluctantly, Adrian sent James away to Wentworth with the belief it would be best for both Christopher and James.
With James away, Adrian can see how much Chris misses his older brother. Just this past year, Adrian was promoted in his job which required him to move to the East Coast and work at the plant in New England. This seemed like a blessing, but Adrian wasn't sure if returning would be the best idea. However, after thinking about it, he took the job and packed up his stuff over the summer and moved to Rhode Island.
