laziness WORDS FOR DANIEL DREAM | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #6d6d6d;] wearing It was a beautiful summer day save for the heat. The fact school was out for the year and testing was over and done with until next year made Faith want to jump for joy. Sure, she loved learning new facts and figures, but summer meant she had time to do the activities she really loved. Despite the fact Faith was a good student, she liked free time and doing fun things especially with her friends. In fact, she had gone over to Natalie's house a couple days ago for their annual end of school sleep over. It had been a very fun time. They talked about boys and watched their favorite movies all night long. Today she was headed for the ice cream shop to treat herself to some ice cream, and she was to meet another one of her closest friends there, Daniel. Daniel was her longest and most trusted confidante and friend. They had played together as toddlers, and their parents had been good friends since before they were born. Whenever something was wrong, Daniel was the one she went to. He never judged her, and he always managed to make her feel better. As the years passed, Faith found herself wondering if they could ever be more than friends. He was handsome, smart, and kind. However, she refused to let her potential feelings show for him because she feared he didn't feel the same. Heck, she didn't even know what she felt. The only thing she knew was that she didn't want to risk losing him, and their strong friendship. As Faith walked to the ice cream shop, she made sure to get these thoughts out of her system. She didn't want to start acting differently around him or else he'd start to get suspicious, so she let those feelings run their course and by the time she got to the ice cream shop they were out of her mind. The girl looked around for him and saw that he wasn't there yet. She realized she was a little early when she checked her watch, so she decided to sit down and wait, pondering which flavor she was going to get today. |
