Her eyes are dark blue that are kind and soft. Emma’s hair is long and wavy, with a little curl at the ends. She sometimes cuts it short, but mostly, she likes to keep it long. Emma likes to dress casual when she at home. Emma prefers to wear a loose fitted t-shirt, and sweats will do for her. She loves wearing jeans and flip flops. When she is at work, she is all about being professional. Emma likes to wear her hair up when she is at home and having fun. When she is out and about, she’ll sometimes either wear it down, or half up and half down. She’s always smiling, and trying to make people laugh and be comfortable. The only piercings she really has are her pierced ears, and she has one tattoo that she keeps hidden under her clothes. It’s an outline of a dove on her back left shoulder.

Loyal: Emma is committed to her friends and loves to help and be there for them when they need her. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and tell people how she feels about them, though her tongue often gets the better of her. She is protective of her family, and those close to her. She feels obligated to act like a mama bear for her younger step-brother Collin.
Committed: She stays true to her morals and the things that she loves to do. She rarely ever backs down from a challenge. She is committed to helping her students achieve their best, and feels that she had failed them if they come out with anything below a B.
Artistic: Emma loves to dabble in drawing and sketching, but her true love is photography. Her apartment has a few of some of the photos she has taken. She never really wants to make a career out of it, it’s just a hobby she loves to do, but some of her friends have asked her to take engagement photos and such.
Enthusiastic: When Emma gets in a playful mood, she loves to be positive and just be all smiles. Things like helping people and being with friends make her the way she is. She is all for reaching out and helping people. She tried to not be a Debbie downer, and always tries to be everyone’s best cheerleader, and coach.
Hopeless Romantic: Emma has never really been in love, not seriously anyway. She would love to have a fairytale romance, and just be committed to one person for the rest of her life. Until that day comes, she lives her life with a bright smile. She sometimes catches herself between a notion of having a love from one of her fictional stories, and getting it tangled with her real love life. She sets her expectations for a real love to the ones she reads in books.
. Emma was born on October 15th to Beatrice and George Danvers, in Hartford Connecticut. She grew up in a loving home, and always knew she wanted to teach. She would set up her dolls like she was in a classroom and teach and read to her dolls. She was the spitting image of her father, and her mother's joy. She is close to her brother, even though he is now in the Army and comes home from time to time. She was put in the best schools, and did her best to succeed. Her favorite classes were English, or course, and she also fell in love with Theater. She started off being in the stage design, but then auditioned for her Sophomore year production of Ragtime, and it took off from there. She played Christine in Phantom her junior year, and then shined as Cosette in Les Miserables her final year as a senior. .By the end of high school, she was voted most likely to succeed and graduated valedictorian.
When she graduated, she took a backpacking trek around Europe before going off to college, and getting a degree to teach high school Honors English. When she was in her sophomore year of college, her mother was killed in a horrific car accident. Emma was crushed and shut people off for a while and kept to herself. She doesn't really like to talk about the accident. When she graduated college, she got a teaching position at Wentworth Academy, and moved closer to her new job. About a year after she started working at Wentworth, her father announced that he had remarried while she was away. This set a rift between her and her father. Granted she was happy to see her father happy again, but it was just that he left her in the dark about it all. She admires her new step-mother, knowing she can never replace her real mother, but she might as well make the best of it. She gets along with her new step-brother Collin pretty well. Since he goes to the same school where she teaches now, she can keep an eye on him, but he likes to keep his space from her.
Emma sat at her desk and sighed softly. Recording all these grades could be mind numbing, and mundane, but it had to be done. Otherwise the students would never know what they got on their papers. This was what she didn't like about teaching, granted that she loved teaching her students how to break apart a poem and write better papers, but just the math side of grading is what made her cringe. She turned on some music, playing it softly behind her, and then went back to her grading. The majority of her students were doing very well, which showed how much they were absorbing the material that she was teaching, but on the downside some of her students still were making just an average C in her class. Here she was a teacher who strives to keep all her students at B level, and some come off with a C. Where was she going wrong?
Emma brushed some of her hair back and closed her grading book, and pulled out her lesson log checking to see what she had going on tomorrow. Better to be ahead than do things last minute. She was caught off guard when she heard a knock at her door. She looked up and saw Ariel. She gave her a kind smile and ushered her in. " Sure, come on in Ariel. What can I help you with?." she said and closed her lesson book. The student sat down next to her desk and told her the problems she was having at home, and how is was effecting her concentration is Emma's class. Emma sat there and listened, it was true that she had noticed that Ariel had been struggling in class, but Emma was more than willing to help her bounce back.
