Hands slammed down on the cold metal table. Trine was quickly losing whatever patience she had with this man. While Vera was out working with someone new for a kidnapping case, Trine was interrogating the man by herself until Vera showed up. The man named Loki was an arrogant, sarcastic individual who frustrated Trine to no end. Funny how she couldn't see how alike they were. When she'd found out his name was Loki, she thought it was a joke. Everyone called her Loki because of her demeanor and the pranks she'd play; now here she was interrogating a man with the same name.
His record with the police was not exactly helping his non-guilty plead, but none of it seemed to be of criminal activity. Just disturbing the peace and playing pranks. She'd smirked when she read the file. So, she was questioning a fellow prancer? Fun. Loki was accused of stealing money and equipment from the garage he worked at, but what wasn't known to the owner of said garage was that the parts and money were being used to make get away cars for drug dealers. So it was Trine's job to get Loki to confess to stealing the stuff in order to give to whatever gang that needed it. But right now he kept lying to her. Of course Trine was normally really good at telling if someone was lying or not, and to her it seemed like Loki wasn't.
However, his record and all she knew of his past (very little, actually) pointed to guilty. "Look," she said menacingly, "you're telling me one thing while your history tells me another. I don't tell anyone I interrogate when they're getting to me, but I have to tell you that you are the most confusing human being I have ever had the displeasure of questioning." She was unaware of some of the discouragement that was coming through in her tone. "I'm only going to ask you one. more. time. Who are you selling the parts to?"
