Even if the stars and moon collide,
As the door swung, Carmen parted her lips and mumbled something about the place. Savanna laughed and shook her head. "It's all good, hun. I promise. I'm not expecting something grand! Or...grande! However you say it...all...fancy-like. I did used to go here." After she played her part as being drunk, she slowly made her way into the room and smiled at how it was set up. She could tell it was Carmen's decorating. It wasn't very feminine in the lest, but it didn't bother Savanna -- after all, she could help with that! Within a few seconds, Carmen disappeared into the bathroom, leaving Savanna to fend for herself. Looking around again, she smiled once more. Savanna was the type of person that liked to touch things, so she did. Her finger traced along the desk, flipping through loose papers on the desk, running across the back of the chair.
As Carmen came back, it startled Savanna a little, and she whipped around. She had changed into some shorts and a tank top, allowing Sav to admire her body. For who she was, Carmen was pretty fit. Giving an approving nod and half smile, she continued to touch things on the desk. Carmen quickly bounded over to her and gave her some sleeping clothes, which Savanna thanked her for. "Thank you, Carmen. I appreciate it. And I could use some food. Might help settle my stomach." Her stomach was fine. The only thing 'wrong' with it was that there was butterflies in it. Without going anywhere, Savanna slid out of her dress, tossing it close to the desk. She stood there for a moment, before sliding into the shorts and shirt. They were a little big, but it was comfy. Carmen by this time had crossed the room and had sat down on the bed. It wasn't long before there was knocking on the door, and Carmen was up again. When the door closed, she made her way back to the bed. Smiling, Savanna made her way to join her.
Crawling onto the bed, Savanna returned Carmen's smile. It wasn't until Carmen's hand ran through her hair that Savanna allowed herself to completely relax. When she heard her voice, it was hard not to get lost in it all. The words actually took her by surprise, and to show Carmen that, she looked up to her and gave her a smile. "Carmen...I care a lot about you too. I really do. Hell, I'm pretty sure I can say I like you. Tonight has been really fun...and I can't thank you enough for that. I needed it." That much was true. A lot had been going through Savanna's mind...most of it about Ryker. She was technically seeing Ryker at the time, but she could feel herself falling for Carmen. And it wasn't the type of falling where she could use her and lose her...it was genuine. Things with Carmen were just...different.
Turning to face Carmen, Savanna sat up, grabbing a slice of pizza. Taking a bite, she giggled and tucked her hair behind her ear. "Tonight's been so fun. I know I just said that, but I do mean it. I could make a habit of this...if that's okay with you? I mean...I think we get along well enough." She was running out of things to say. And...the pizza was not sitting right with her tonight. Perhaps eating was not what she needed right now. Setting the piece back in the box, her eyes quickly cut back to Carmen. The moment that they locked, Savanna couldn't move. She was frozen, staring right back into Carmen's deep eyes.
One could almost assume that someone had deliberately placed them right in front of each other. The pull that they had to each other was a little unreal -- if you thought about it. Moving the pizza box, Savanna laid back down, facing Carmen this time. The eye contact between the two girls was intense, and unbreakable. For fifteen minutes, the girls did nothing but look into each other's eyes. Savanna thought about making a move, but decided against it, for the sheer fact that she was unsure how Carmen would react. For now, she pulled herself as close to Carmen as she could get and wrapped her left arm around her, her right arm staying tucked up against her. Tonight, neither girls would be sleeping alone, and that -- in and of itself -- meant more to Savanna than she would ever let on.
I really don't care
