TAKEN
PLAYBY IS UP TO YOU!
___ ___ walker
This is ___, James' stepfather. (For the sake of simplicity while explaining the plot, let's call him John for now. However, the name is your choice.) He needs to be at least 35 years old, because he has a son who might be as old as 14 (see below), and he's not the sort to have been a teen dad.
THEN
John was married to a wonderful woman, but she died of cancer shortly after their son's birth. He met Maryanne about a year later, married her three years later, and became a step-father to her son James.
Less than a year after their marriage, a drugged-up teenager swerved across the highway and into their car. Maryanne was killed instantly, and John and Christopher were hospitalized. John spent time in a coma, and had to attend physical therapy to regain the ability to walk. He didn't come home until six months after the crash.
NOW
John lives on the West Coast with his son Christopher. His step-son, James, lives at Wentworth Academy in Rhode Island to learn befriend someone other than his brother. However, John has a job offer from his company that could let him move to the East Coast, and Rhode Island is a possibility. He's considering moving closer to let Christopher and James be near each other, but isn't sure if it will be good for either boy.
THE DETAILS
Name: ___ ___ Walker
Age: At least 34 or 35
Occupation: Up to you
Married: No, though he has two dead wives. If you want him to have a significant other/meet one later, that's all good
Face claim: Up to you. If you need suggestions, might I point you to John Barrowman? Or maybe Jason Clarke? As of this posting, neither is taken, and both look about the right age~
AVAILABLE
christopher ___ walker
THEN
Christopher's mother died of cancer shortly after his birth. His father remarried, and Chris was so young that he can't remember a time before he had a step-brother.
Less than a year after the marriage, a drugged-up teenager swerved across the highway and into their car. Maryanne was killed instantly, and John and Christopher were hospitalized. Christopher, only four years old, sustained severe injuries, and was hospitalized for the next year as he struggled to recover.
NOW
Christopher is well enough to attend public school, but still shows signs of the accident (whether this is a limp, a speech impediment, or even just scars, is up to you). His step-brother, James, goes to school in another state. Chris doesn't know why; his father just told him that James needs to "get better" before he can live at home again. James is incredibly over-protective of Chris, but it's your choice how he feels about that.
THE DETAILS
Name: Christopher ___ Walker (if you really hate the name Christopher, it can be changed, but otherwise I'd prefer to leave it)
Age: At least 10, up to 14 (if you want him to be a freshman in the fall, he needs to be 14; otherwise he'll be a local)
Occupation: Student
Friends: Up to you. Even his relationship with his brother is your choice. Does he love James to death? Or does he hate how over-protective the older boy is?
Face claim: Up to you. The picture above is Zachary Dylan Smith, but he's just a suggestion. Anyone you want is fine, as long as they can pass for that age range.
